Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette Guajardo visited our SST Corpus Christi College Prep High School to deliver her mayoral proclamation declaring the School of Science and Technology Corpus Christi has earned the National School of Character title. Mayor Guajardo recognized Texas Character Education Week which will be observed Monday, November 11 through Friday, November 15, 2024. The theme is “Color the World with Character Traits.”
College Prep High School Family And Student Engagement Coordinator, Mrs. Ashton Sigler, welcomed our guests, while school principal, Dr. Guray Taysever, introduced Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette Guajardo. All four of our SST-CC principals attended this special occasion and were grateful for the time and attention given by Mayor Guajardo. Once the ceremony was over, a group of students escorted our mayor as she walked the hallways of the high school to meet other SST scholars and teachers.
